Sono stata a Roma per un giorno solo e, prima di arrivare, ho chiamato un mio carissimo amico dicendogli: “Ho una sola richiesta: portami a mangiare la miglior gricia nella peggiore osteria”. Detto fatto, è riuscito a soddisfare le mie aspettative! Dopo cena siamo andati a bere una birra in uno dei locali con più selezione che io abbia mai visto! Abbiamo trascorso la serata chiacchierando e digerendo la cena praticamente sdraiati su comodissimi divani. L’indomani, prima di correre in aeroporto, mi sono concessa una colazione da sogno da Settembrini… immancabile appuntamento romano.
I went to Rome just for one day and before I got there I called a dear friend and told him: ” There’s only one thing I want: take me to eat the best gricia in the worst tavern”. So that’s what he did…. he succeeded in fulfilling my expectations! After dinner we went to drink a beer in a place with one of the largest selections of beer I’ve ever seen! We spent our evening chatting and chilling, almost lying down on super-comfortable sofas. The next day, before dashing to the airport, I allowed myself a dream-breakfast at Settembrini… something I just can’t miss when I’m in Rome.
