DUBLIN’S: COME WHENEVER YOU WANT.

Chicago, che città meravigliosa!
Tutto funziona, tutti sono in orario, la vita è più semplice lì: si può fare la spesa a qualunque ora del giorno e della notte, si può andare alla posta e sbrigare ogni commissione in pochi minuti (gli italiani potranno capire quanto questa esperienza mi abbia sconvolta), si può mangiare cibo proveniente da tutto il mondo senza allontanarsi da casa propria e, se non si ha voglia di uscire perché fuori fa freddo e piove, si può semplicemente ordinare a casa ciò che si desidera.
Ma… vi sfido a trovare un posto aperto 365 giorni l’anno fino alle 4.00am che serve più o meno qualunque
cosa voi possiate desiderare fino a notte fonda!
Io ho avuto la fortuna di trovare il perfetto Pub a 1 minuto a piedi da dove abitavo.
Sto parlando del Dublin’s, un piccolo Irish Pub dove ho trascorso diverse serate in pieno stile americano: bere birra, guardare il baseball (non me ne vogliano gli americani, ma quanto è noioso? 🙂 ), mangiare le oyster rockefeller i calamari grilled e, perché no, conoscere nuove persone!

Everything works, everybody are on time, life is easier there: you can go to the grocery store till late, you can go to the post office and do everything on time (only people from Italy can understand how astonished I was when I saw there was no line!), you can eat different kind of food coming from all over the world without walking away from home. Last but not least, if it’s cold and it’s raining you can decide to order almost whatever  you want and receive everything at your place.
But… I challenge you to find a bar which remains open 365 days a year until 4.00 am where you can eat
and drink what you desire till late in the night!
When I was in Chicago I felt so lucky cause I found the perfect pub and it was only 1 min walking from where I used to live.
I’m talking about Dublin’s, a small Irish Pub where I spent many nights in a real american mood: drink some beer, watch baseball matches (ok Americans, no offense, how boring is this sport? 🙂 ), eat oyster rockefeller and calamari grilled and meet new people!
