Ho deciso di cominciare dal ristorante dove sono stata oggi a pranzo!
Si tratta di una pescheria, Pescheria Mattiucci!
L’accogliente ristorantino si trova a Milano, in via Vincenzo Monti 56, a Napoli e a Londra.
È aperta tutti i giorni, tranne la domenica… Ma passiamo al lato interessante della cosa!
Il simpaticissimo Pietro vi accoglie all’interno del suo locale elencandovi i piatti disponibili, tra cotti e crudi; una volta prese le ordinazioni, si avvicina ad un “pozzo” (da me definito così) e parla con Fernando, il cuoco che si trova al piano inferiore. Dal magico pozzo, in pochi minuti, vedrete comparire dai cestini di bruschette calde e taralli napoletani ai friarielli fino ai piatti da voi scelti. Il locale è arredato in maniera simpatica e particolare, con molta attenzione ai dettagli e alle chincaglierie (tutte napoletane DOC!). Consiglio tutto ma in particolar modo il classico piatto di crudo (15€), servito con sali particolari e olio delizioso.
Dimenticavo di dire che la Pescheria Mattiucci rimane comunque una vera e propria pescheria e, oltre a vendere ottimo pesce fresco e prodotti come pasta e altre prelibatezze, organizza anche un servizio di chef@home (cene private direttamente a casa vostra!).

The cozy restaurant is located in Milan, in Via Vincenzo Monti 56, Naples and London.
It is open every day, except Sundays … But let’s talk about something more interesting!
The super funny Pietro welcomes you in its restaurant showing you all the dishes available, including cooked and raw ones, and once you order them, Pietro goes near a small “well” (so called by myself) and talks to Fernando, the chef, who is downstairs. From the magic well, in a few minutes, you will see baskets of bruschette (toasted italian bread with oil) and Neapolitan taralli, in addition to the dishes you choose. The small fish boutique is furnished in a nice and particular way, with great attention to details and decoration (all Neapolitan DOC!). I suggest everything but especially the classic raw fish (15 €), served with special salts and oil. I forgot to say that the fish boutique Mattiucci it is, above all, a fish shop so you can buy fish, a special type of pasta even some fruit coming from the very South of Italy! And, last but not least, it also provides a small catering service called chef@home!
